Blog Tour & Review: Damaged Goods by J.C. Hannigan

Pageflex Persona [document: PRS0000037_00026]

Everly Daniels can’t seem to fall out of love with Grayson Dixon.
Five years after locking eyes with him, Everly is drawn to him like a moth to a flame. He has a pull on her that she can’t seem to break, even if she wanted to. Grayson may be the love of her life, but he doesn’t make it easy. He has built walls around himself that only Everly can breach. But Grayson knows he is not the good guy. He’s reckless and careless, and even if Everly brings a little color into his life, he worries he will destroy her, and cares too much to let that happen.
She has always been the shy wallflower who is afraid to participate. But senior year, all that is about to change.
This captivating new adult novel will take readers on a riveting journey of emotion and growth.

Damaged Good by J.C. Hannigan is a feel good story about a first love and first heartbreak.  The book was an easy read and 35 stars for me.  I will warn you that it is a cliff hanger, and how could you do that to us J.C. Hannigan?? I NEEEED to know how it ends for Everly and Grayson.

Everly has loved Grayson since she first saw in in grade school sitting across the room from her.  Never getting over her crush, she meets him again by chance at the local fair when she is in high school.  Starting up an online friendship, something she never thought possible with the hot boy who haunts her thoughts, Everly's crush on Grayson only grows stronger, until one day she gets exactly what she wants, Grayson is her boyfriend.

Grayson Dixon has a secret, a secret that the reader is dying to try and figure out throughout the entire book.  What is it that keeps him away for days or weeks at a time?  What makes him late to dates with Everly the girl he clearly has serious feelings for?  Why does he constantly tell her he isn't good enough and he will ruin them?  The reader doesn't get to find out just yet in this first book of the Damaged Series, and I cannot wait to see what is the next for the couple who can't ever seem to be on the same page.

Everly has been in love with Grayson since the 7th grade. Just as her infatuation started he left.

Everly has been a wallflower and this year, her senior year of high school she is determined to break out of her shell. To let go of her fantasies of Grayson. Only this year Grayson comes back.

They are drawn together like two magnets. Everly starts to see behind the mask but then Grayson resurrects those walls right back up.

Can Everly break out of her shell? Can she get Grayson to open up?

This was a great story about growth and friendship. This is a cliffy and I can't wait to see what's in store for these two.

Damaged Goods is the first book in the Damaged Series.  This story is about a young love that matures over the years of highschool and ignites into a passionate romance, but in the end demons will over take the relationship and it will fall to pieces.  This book does end in a cliffy and as we all know if you have ever read my reviews im not a big fan of cliffys but this book really did outshine through the whole story so instead of being upset about the cliffhanger it left me wanting and needing more.

I would give this book a 4 stars and would recommend to others.  Grayson and Everly were 2 very strong characters and by the end of this book you will have so many questions that you will need to read the next book Reckless Abandon coming in early 2016!

This is the first book I have read by J.C. Hannigan but I know after I finally get the rest of this story I will be sure to follow her along her journey.  Thanks for a great although frustrating at times read!
